When my fiancee and I began searching for a home in 2021, our outlook was fairly grim: we were fighting our fellow avocado toast-wielding millennials, who were frivolously tossing around wads of hundreds like a 1980's Wall Street Banker. The housing selection was slim, the prices were high, and our chances of success were little to none. Kelly was originally recommended to us by friends who had a positive experience, and when we contacted her many months in advance prior to our estimated house-hunting period, she was patient and understanding. Even when we didn't require her services for many months, she helped us get a better sense of the market, and what to expect. When we finally did start house hunting, we were always impressed with how promptly Kelly responded to our emails, and how prepared she was when accompanying us on house tours. As lifelong renters, we couldn't tell a water softener from a boiler, but she was able to point out areas of concern that we would have completely overlooked. Most important was her candor--we were on the verge of closing on a home that probably would've given us an endless number of headaches, but she gave her honest opinion and prevented us from purchasing a dud. Were it not for her, we'd probably be stuck in a never-ending spiral of contractors and sawdust. We ended up purchasing a home with Kelly's help, and are finally free from the nightmare of thin apartment walls and aspiring musicians practicing at 1 AM. We couldn't have done it without her, and appreciate everything she's done to make our dream of home ownership possible.
